Denton County Childrens Advocacy Center

This past Saturday (8/7/9) from 10:00am to 2:00pm the DCCAC staff and volunteers prepared for the coming back to school fair for families in need who utilize the center throughout the year.

Volunteers worked from a list for each grade level, filling each book bag with school supplies and there were lots of lists and book bags to fill!

All supplies are donated from organizations and individuals throughout the Denton County area. Below are pictures of TNSS members busy filling the book bags. Sadly, some book bags in the end had only one or two items as we ran out of supplies.

The staff from the center appreciated the time that all the help our TNSS chapter members gave on Saturday morning!

I sincerely appreciate each of our members who gave up part of their weekend to come out and help such worthy cause.

On several occasions, I have been told by the DCCAC staff that our chapter is very much recognized and appreciated because of all of our past donations to the center (teddy bear drive, toys and adopting families during the holidays).

Good job everyone, I am very proud to be a member of this chapter.
